New Year, New You, New Us?

Whether you make New Year resolutions or not, every January tends to feel like a new beginning.

And for us, it’s no different. At the end of last year we listened to your feedback and decided it was time for a whole new look and we’re excited to share this with you.

So whatever your plans for 2018, we'll be here supporting you every step of the way and tacking problems together, for good.

What changes are we making?

  • We have developed a new visual identity and upgraded the look and feel of our website to match
  • We have introduced new services including Live Chat and a dedicated Telephone Advice Line
  • We’ve become a generalist advice only service delivering advice online, over the phone and in person from our Saltcoats Bureau.

Why are we doing this?

We are a not for profit charity and are purely focused on the benefits for our clients. We believe everyone should have access to well informed, free advice, whenever they need it but with funding streams across the sector reducing, coupled with increased competition, it is proving difficult for us to ensure we can deliver our vital service in its current form so we’ve changed it a little to ensure we make the most out of every penny we receive.

Our old website and look has served us well but technology continues to develop and with this redesign we have been able to take advantage of new digital technology to drive our service forward. You will immediately notice improved aesthetics, simplified content (so you’ll get more from a quick read) and new digital ways to get advice. The new design also allows for streamlined menus, clear navigation, and a responsive layout for all platforms.

  • Website: At a glance you will see news, social media integration, featured tools and quick links to get where you want in one click.
  • Live Chat: You can now sit from the comfort of your home to get the same level of service and advice through our live chat feature. Chat is the fastest growing channel in contact centers – its instant, easy and text based. This will be monitored 9am – 5pm and we’ll even send you a copy of the conversation if you want.
  • Newsletter: You can now keep up to date with all things NACAS by subscribing to our newsletter. We won’t send you
  • Donate: You can now make an  donation to us using BT My Donate or Savoo. We picked these platforms as they don’t charge for their services meaning your donation comes straight to us.
