What is #CABLive?
#CABLive is national Twitter event aimed at giving an insight into the daily life of Citizens Advice Services up and down the country. Live tweets will come from Citizens Advice Bureaux and Citizens Advice staff and services from Scotland, England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Jersey!
We will be live tweeting throughout the week about what we’re up to and showcasing the work of our hard-working staff and volunteers. From clients we’ve helped, training we’ve delivered, courses we’ve attended, research and administration we’ve undertaken, we will share our activities.
Why do we do this?
NACAS wants to give the public and other organisations the opportunity to get a real insight into exactly what we do nationally as well as locally in North Ayrshire. Many people are not aware of the broad range of issues dealt within Citizens Advice, or the high quality of the continuous training received and the ability to offer FREE specialist services and advice in areas such as benefits, debt, employment, health, homelessness and housing. It can also alert people to the fact that Citizens Advice and each individual bureau are charities, each responsible for sourcing their own funding. It is a national service that provides free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to everyone on their rights and responsibilities, whilst valuing diversity, promoting equality and challenging discrimination.
Please follow @nacasadvice and watch out for #CABLive on Twitter from Monday 18th April 2016.
Any re-tweets from you will help get the message out there!
