Nina Smith (40yrs) graduated from Leeds University with a BA Honours in European Finance and Accountancy with German. Nina then gained invaluable experience working with global organisations including; Proctor and Gamble and General Electric.
Family commitments brought Nina to the beautiful island of Arran where she took the position of NACAS Bureau Manager in 2005. Nina was then invited to join the NACAS Board of Directors in 2006 and in 2007, was promoted to General Manager of NACAS. As the business grew, ultimately this role evolved into NACAS Chief Executive which Nina holds today.
Nina continues to drive and expand the charity through her innovate and dynamic approach and is looking forward to another successful year ahead.
In her spare time, Nina enjoys outdoor activities including; running and walking her chocolate Labrador, Ruby.
Business Development Manager
Michael McGuire (44yrs) joined NACAS in 2014 as Training and Development officer and in 2015 took the position of Business Development Manager. Michael is a highly-motivated individual with a proven track record in producing results in strategical, operational and financial sections of the organisation.
With 20+ years of experience working with SME’s, third sector organisations and economic development, Michael brings a wealth of experience and to the charity.
Michael continues to engage and support the charity through growth and development whilst implementing and managing change towards delivering sustainability, future proofing, and co-operative working with key partners and organisations.
A keen fitness enthusiast, Michael is either found in the gym or in the kitchen, honing his culinary skills.
